Well the snow is here to stay and I ended up investing in some Lacrosse insulated work boots. Sunday the 10th we were able to get started on the roof trusses. We got up the main supporting truss for the north side and the hips.
During the week last week there were quite a bit of walls going up on the first floor. Above you can see the entry closet and the study wall along the staircase.
I was able to finish up the pantry walls this week. Next set of walls to go up will be the bathroom and the other wall along the staircase.
Here is the wood that is left for the garage, the sheeting for the roof, and the remaining roof trusses to be put up. We are going to see if a few people are able to get the trusses upstairs but if cannot we'll get the marks on the top plate and hire a crane to come out and lift the few we can't do by hand.
